No new taxes in California

The very blue state of California interestingly rejected their Republican governor's proposal to save the state budget by raising taxes. Very interesting! I wish progressives weren't so linked to higher taxes, and could see the problem with this in the long run. Progressivism isn't about government power, it's about helping people.
