All Europeans have same genetic parents 1,000 years ago

So says this study http://www.natureworldnews.com/articles/1803/20130507/europeans-related-genetic-footprint-dating-back-1-000-years-ago.htm Surprising was that there was just one common set of parents - and that it was only 1,000 years ago. Note the other study it mentions... that all world languages trace back to one ancient language from southern Europe. Let the naysaying begin that these were Christians doing these studies, with pre-conceived notions of Adam and Eve and the fall of the Tower of Babel.

Dear Flydad,

I just re-visited a movie list you posted long ago, to update my search for good movies while we're snowed in, and wanted to say hi and how are you? You're not posting too much, nor am I, because I'm finishing a sci fi novel of my own. My politics have changed since we last connected, and I'd like to say how. I think that support for the anti-communist and anti-terrorist movements from Catholics is misplaced, and have distracted us from identifying a more serious enemy. I think instead we should focus on secularism, and build a third party such as Hungary has done in FIDESZ, to move toward a Catholic confessional state. We had Catholics who were doing just that in the fifties and sixties, but eventually allied with secularism to fight communism--I am speaking of the Catholics who formed Triumph magazine. I think now most Catholics are making that same mistake 'fighting' Islam rather than building a genuine alternative to Islam. I don't know if you have been keeping up with the discussion of conversions to Islam in Europe and the US but it's huge, and we Catholics are not providing the vital spiritual and necessarily political platform to fight it. Instead, we are putting our children on the front lines of a fight to bring--homosexuality, abortion, and predatory economics to the Middle East. Anyway, just to say. I want to spend the new year, after I finish the novel (which puts the politics I've just summarized into fiction), I want to spend time working on a practical platform we could use. It is my personal belief that many Americans, and not only Catholics, are ready to recognize the bankruptcy of the secular vision upon which this country was founded. Hungary's new pro-life constitution was won by a coalition. We could so do that. Anyway, dear Flydad, hello and happy new year and Merry Christmas. We have a Savior and that can make us happy even living as we do in this hell on earth that is and always was America.
